Laura Cox is very passionate about giving back to the communities and those in need in her home state of West Virginia. She has created a not for profit names after her late son Charlie Blizzard to help her give back.

Geri-olympics
Laura Cox and the Charlie Blizzard Foundation are excited to be the next organizer of the Geri-Olympics.
The Geri-Olypimcs has taken place since 1987, Laura took over organizing this event in 2024 after the retirement of the creator of the event. This event takes place every spring in Kanawha County, WV at the South Charleston Community Center for regional nursing and assisted living facilities to get their residents active with a little friendly completion and games.
